Matthew 7:20 (New International Version)
20. Thus, by their fruit you will recognize them.
Will God’s people suffering from adversity? Hardship? Danger? Illness? Harsh condition?
The answer is: YES.
Then, what is the different? To be God’s people or not?
From Rev (DR) Maak and our Elder Yeoh HH, I think I found the answer…..
Rev (DR) Maak, lose his eyes sight since beginning 2010, this illness had has caused him much inconveniences and discomfort. During the luncheon two weeks ago with Rev (DR) Maak, although he was unable to see, his cheerful heart and positive attitude has given us a wonderful afternoon. Rev (DR) Maak and Mrs. Maak are always in our prayers.
Sunday morning, we meet Rev (DR) Maak again in Church, he shared with us a good new that God has answered our prayers, after an eyes surgery by eyes’ specialists, he has regain his eyes sight. This is a miracle and he is able to move around by himself freely, praise the Lord!
6th June, after sending Bee off from airport, Elder Yoeh left ankles suddenly swelled like a “water melon”; we have to send him to visit Chinese physician on wheel chair.
The next day, he was going to meet Doreen in Hong Kong…Although painful, Elder Yeoh was still cheerful and requests us praying for him. Amazingly, the next day before departure to Hong Kong, his ankles swell subside. Last Sunday, he was able to join in the post connection day bowling competition and enjoy the fun time with us, praise the Lord.
What make God’s people different is we have a mighty & awesome God to fall back in adversity, hardship, danger, illness, and/ or harsh condition.
Our heavenly father answers our prayer without fail and we are able to lives with a joyful, cheerful and positive attitude as we believed that with God, there are mercies and miracles.
Psalm 77:14(New International Version)
