Finally managed to figure out how to create, edit, add song, add picture etc etc etc on this bloggie thingie (dun ask me how to make the song loop though, it's impossible).
What's next? Er....I really have no idea. Since I've named this blog "NLC JoYFuL SG" I shall dedicate this first entry to our SG members.
First up is our SG Leader Ben aka "the great leader" according to some 'reliable sources' and I can't agree more. Great is a synonym for gigantic, huge, enormous and king kong anyways. Ben is a gentle giant with a heart of gold though. You can always count on him when you're in need. His favourite phrase is "How about the others?" and I kid you not, this guy has a serious addiction to the letter "S"!!!Next up is Cat aka Mrs Ben. As the saying goes "Behind every
successful man there is a woman" With Cat standing behind Ben, you probably won't even know she's there! Yup, she buys M-size clothes from the children's department. Size aside, Cat is the one who works tirelessly behind the scene getting all the logistics ready for our SG meetings (in other words, kio sai auntie). Without her, our fortnightly SG meetings would have been a mess.Arigato-ne!!
Kind, gentle, demure, understanding, sweet, charming are words one would generally NOT ascribe to Shu Mei aka Bee. However, Bee is truly a rare talent and 2 C's best describes her contribution to the SG. No no no, not C Cup ....it's Crappy Creativity! If you wanna know how to make roses out of toilet paper, ask Bee.<-A sulky looking Bee escorted by the police after she was caught in her attempt to abscond from a pre-arranged marriage to a Bangala worker. No wonder he's smiling...

Yeoh. Seen here with his 'ah lian' looking wife Doreen, Elder Yeoh... OMG did I just say ELDER? Oops, better be serious in case NLC kicks me out. Ahem. What better words to describe Elder Yeoh than Benevolent, Awesome and Devoted. As for Doreen, she epitomizes the very essence of being Motherly, Exemplary, Attentive and Nice. Together, this wonderful couple strives laboriously to help nurture all the sheeps in Joyful SG. WE LOVE YOU Elder Yeoh and Doreen!!! Phew...
Making great music here there and everywhere – Serlin our Man of Many Musical Moments. Whoa. May have gone a little overboard with the M’s, there. We do appreciate all the times he led worship in our sg, in the midst of all his work stuff and worship for church stuff – usually all together! So busy… still got time for his Wifey and Kids. Serlin – if you were not a guy – I’d think you are a gal!
Our Genevieve – name of a queen, heart of a warrior! Packed into that small frame of her is a lot of punch! All! Say! Feisty! Hey that sounds like a cheer hor? Seriously though, she’s the straight man to our oftentimes Laurel and Hardy antics, but still chill enough to let her (er.. short) hair down and crap with the best of us. She’s cool, this gal.
Jas and Simon - of the YA alumni. No, not the couple on the right.. the middle! One can easily see how nicely they complement each other - Jasmine the super outdoorsy, adventurous half, and Simon the quieter, but very sporting, *thick-skinned* (not I say one hah!) partner. And in just a few months -- we'll have a mini Jasimon (or is it Simasmine?) join our group at age 0! Nice.
Who’s next – ah! Our newest addition, Ai Leng aka The Parang Bride. Just .. don’t piss her off, is all I can say. Otherwise in her non-kickass moments, she’s pretty gentle and fun to talk to. This pix is her sportingly acting in our church drama, upon some “encouragement” from our Great Leader. (Famous last words: “OK lor”). Also runs a 100% non-profit sms messaging service to encourage us all with bible verses in our daily drudgery. Welcome welcome!
Last (and also the least --- NOT) is Peter, our point man! Do Not, for one moment, let this bapok 
pose fool you into thinking he’s this big boobs no brain fella ok?! (Eh actually also not very big) Bamboozle him, and he will Bamboozle You Right Back. Very politely, with 2 bamboos and a smile on his face. Also a very sporting guy who can be counted on in a pinch to carry things through. Also our resident Boggle /mahjong/ bowling/ pool champion! Whoa. This list keeps growing the more we know about him! Watch this space everyone – one day this para alone will take over the whole blog.
